The major areas are: Panthers Gridiron Club, Panthers Suite 87 Club, Panthers Lower Premium, Panthers Lower Sideline, Panthers Lower End Zone, Panthers Club 1, Panthers Club 2, Panthers Club 3, Panthers Middle End Zone, Panthers Upper Premium, Panthers Upper Sideline, and Panthers Upper End Zone.

The Panthers’ facility was originally known by the name of Carolina Stadium during its construction. Upon stadium completion in 1996, the building was called Ericsson Stadium thanks to a last minute naming deal. Once the ten-year naming agreement with the Swedish phone company expired, then the stadium naming rights were sold to Bank of America. The name has remained the same since the bank agreement even throughout the financial crisis. Bank of America Stadium was paid for primarily by fan contributions through sales of personal seat licenses with each seat in the stadium. The field does not serve as the home field for any team other than the Carolina Panthers, but it is used for a NCAA FBS bowl game and a conference championship game.

The total seating capacity for NFL games is 73,778. More fans than maximum capacity are actually allowed into the venue counting rare standing room only tickets and the inclusion of club and suite patrons. Look at the Bank of America Stadium seating chart for an image of the options within each section.
